How does Pokédex scanning work?
Nexus Dex uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to read text from your
screen as you scroll your Pokémon GO Pokédex. Names, CP, and form
labels are captured directly from the pixels. Nothing leaves your iPhone
unless you choose to share trade data with a friend.
Do I need to play Pokémon GO?
Yes. Nexus Dex is a companion app. It reads your existing Pokémon GO
collection so you can organise trades and track events. You play Pokémon
GO normally and use Nexus Dex alongside.
Is Nexus Dex affiliated with Nintendo or Niantic?
No. Nexus Dex is an independent app built by a Pokémon GO collector for
collectors. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by
Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or Niantic. All Pokémon names and
trademarks belong to their respective owners.
What does Pro unlock?

How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your Apple ID at the top, tap
Subscriptions, and find Nexus Dex Pro. Cancel from there. Apple handles
all billing.
I lost my data after reinstalling. Can I restore it?
Sign back in with the same Google account. Your friend list, settings,
and Pro subscription restore automatically. Pokédex scan history is
stored on-device and does not sync, so you will need to rescan.
Scanning is missing Pokémon or reading wrong values
Make sure you scroll slowly and your Pokédex is set to default sort.
Bright screens and steady framing help OCR. If you keep seeing errors,
email us with a description and we will tune the model.
How do I add a friend?
Open Trainer profile (right tab), tap Friends, then tap Add. Share your
Nexus Dex code or scan a friend's code. Both of you appear in each
other's Friend Dex.
